At Uig Hotel, we understand that every guest has individual needs and requirements. We are committed to making our facilities as accessible and welcoming as possible, ensuring all guests can enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. Where certain facilities may not be fully accessible, we will always do our best to provide suitable alternatives and assistance.
Before You Arrive
Please note, there is no lift within the main hotel building or the lodge and therefore, some limitations to the accessibility features we can provide. We do not have any fully accessible rooms in either the main building or the lodge.
Reservations and enquiries can be made online, by telephone, or email. We encourage guests to let us know of any specific requirements, accessibility needs or special requests at the time of booking, allowing our team to make the necessary arrangements and provide the best possible experience.
Main Building
Bedrooms - We have no ground floor rooms available, and all rooms are only accessibly by a flight of stairs –therefore, do not recommend these rooms for guests requiring step free access.
Public areas –the restaurant and bar are located on the group floor along with reception. Please do advise at the time of booking if you require wheelchair access to allow us to allocate the most suitable table for you and your guests.
Toilets –there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor through the dining room.
Lodge Building
Bedrooms – 4 rooms are situated on the ground floor. However, only one room has a ramp to the room but is not a fully accessible room. The 4 first floor rooms are accessed via a flight of steps only.
Arrival & Parking
Please contact us when making your reservation and we will be happy to advise on the most suitable parking arrangements and access routes to the Hotel and Lodge. Our team will be delighted to assist with luggage, including collecting bags from your vehicle and delivering them to your room if required. Note the grounds are uneven with gravel in areas.
Additional Information
Assistance dogs are warmly welcomed and there is no additional charge.
Large-print menus are available on request.
