Right here on the doorstep we have the mystical Fairy Glen where you can wander around the miniature ridged hills and climb up to the natural stone structure named Castle Ewan. The scenery here has been used for several films including the recent BFG by Stephen Spielberg and the Disney film Stardust.
If you take the road up round the Peninsula you will pass by some of the most spectacular scenery on Skye including the Quiraing, Kilt Rock waterfall, the dinosaur footprints at Staffin beach and the Old Man of Storr. There are many photo opportunities to be had and several great hikes.
Further afield on the Island you can visit the castle at Dunvegan, take the many steps down to the lighthouse at Neist Point, sample the whiskies at Talisker Distillery and view the Fairy Pools at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains.
